Cranio-Sacral Therapy

Cranio-sacral Therapy is a manual therapeutic procedure for remedying distortions in the structure and function of the brain and spinal cord, the bones of the skull, the sacrum, and interconnected membranes. This type of therapy arose from the discipline of osteopathic manipulation. Manipulative techniques involving the gentle manipulation of the bones of the skull and sacrum are used. The aim of the treatment is to balance the flow of cerebrospinal fluid and stimulate the body to heal itself. It is used to treat chronic pain, migraine headaches, TMJ, and a range of other condition.
